JULY 2011
and It's a Goal! projects at Burnley and Accrington Stanley are represented in the squad that flies out to Gottingen, Germany to compete in the annual EASI (European Association for Sports and Social Integration) Cup. Despite the teams inexperience the lads do not disgrace themselves against opposition from Austria, Germany, Norway, England and an All Star European side. (See News archive). Pictured below are Graham and Paul who represented East Lancashire.

AUGUST 2009 - The Supporters Club has now started and takes place between 5 - 8pm in the Bob Lord Stand at BFC on Monday nights. All current or past It's a Goal! players are more than welcome to come along and see what's going on.

 


JUNE 2009
- It's a Goal! launched at Burnley in June 2009, and has seen several successful teams run through the programme so far.

Matches take place at Burnley's Turf Moor ground between 2 - 5pm on Thursdays. The franchise also has links to the

Burnley Bravehearts who compete in the NW Mental Health Users 5 a side League in Manchester.

There are plans to start up a Supporters Club which will be able to offer ongoing support on an informal, drop in basis.
