| Congratulations to two of our host clubs! |
  As the honours for the 2007-08 season are handed out, congratulations must be the order of the day for two of the clubs currently hosting It's a Goal!...Hearty congratulations must go to Manchester United and Stockport County from all at It's a Goal! following the conclusion of the 2007-08 season. United capped a magnificent season for them by securing the Premiership on the campaign's last day, and then followed up by capturing the European Champion's League crown after a nail biting penalty shootout in Moscow against Chelsea. No less an achievement however was Stockpoprt's 3-2 triumph at Wembley against local rivals Rochdale in the League 2 Play off Final. Well done to both teams, and Stockport's victory now ensures that It's a Goal! is represented next season in every division of the English Football League. |
