Football great Sir Bobby Charlton came out in support of the It's a Goal! project speaking at a presentation held at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium...Sir Bobby Charlton spoke about the huge impact It's a Goal! has already made in it's work within a number of football clubs already, and hoped that the work started could be spread to other areas and clubs around the country. He was speaking during a presentation which had been arranged for North West PCT's by the Mental Health Improvement Programme (NHS North West). The presentation included speeches from Project Manager Pete Sayers, two emotive and impassioned speeches from former players Jerry Lakin and Malachy Murray and a view from the West Country as Project Lead Sharon Claridge spoke about how It's a Goal! has been taken up in Plymouth.
