Save for the biggest miracle this side of the New Testament, Manchester United are not going to win the Premiership. The league trophy will be leaving on the Chelsea bus and thousands of grown men will be crying into their Bovril. Luckily, there is help at hand for the disheartened fans, thanks to footballing legend Sir Bobby Charlton. The former United and England star has asked a community psychiatric nurse to give fans help in beating depression and suicidal feelings. "The nurse, Pete Sayers, will be based at Old Trafford and will see people recommended by doctors, social workers, friends and family," says Hickey's man in the red scarf. "It's aimed at 16 to 35-year-old men because they tend to ignore health issues but have high suicide rates."
