 It's a Goal! manned a stand at the prestigious "No Health Without Mental Health Conference" at Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium...October 7th 2009. National Development Director Pete Sayers and Project Worker Jerry Lakin together manned a stand at the No Health Without Mental Health Conference which was held at Manchester United's Old Trafford football ground. There were a variety of high quality speakers, none more so than comedienne Ruby Wax who talked about her well documented mental health issues in her own inimitable style. Star of the show as ever was Sir Bobby Charlton who showed guests round the various stands on display, and who on stopping with the It's a Goal! team, created great interest and a huge autograph queue.
