| It's a Goal! launches in Plymouth! |
 Plymouth officially launches It's a Goal! at Argyle's Home Park stadium...Plymouth Argyle became the latest club to fly the It's a Goal! flag when they hosted the official launch of the project on February 27th 2008Project lead Sharon Claridge hosted the event which kicked off with an introduction from John Richards, Chief Executive of the Plymouth Teaching Primary Care NHS Trust. Sharon then herself gave a warm, welcoming talk praising in particular the tremendous support shown by the football club, represented at the event by their CEO Michael Dunford. Jerry Lakin, himself an ex player with It's a Goal! in Macclesfield then gave an inspirational speech about his own journey, and proceedings were wrapped up with a Q & A session. Mention must be made too for three of the current Plymouth It's a Goal! team who turned up along with coaches Rob Jackson and Nabs Mirza. All in all, a special day with some inspirational people.
